Carmel-By-The-Sea

We arrived to Carmel and decided to adventure out into the town...
Karina had to much fun yesterday... So most of today was spent in this position...
And here she is again... Come on Karina, your spoiling the fun for everyone else...
Karina is with grandma and grandpa...
Chris had to reminisce of the good ole days with them... LOL
Here's what my monkey does best...
During this photo shoot, Chris was in the public restroom...
I know you really wanted to know that...
Show a kid a toy shop...Not just any toy shop and Christmas toy shop...
We couldn't get her to leave...
We walked a little down the sidewalk to see what she would do, when she turned around cause we called her three times and she wouldn't come..
Well She still didn't turn around...
Gosh, didn't work to scare her and teach her to stay with us...
Benton had us go through a few passageways... I loved them... It would be so neat to have a house that had them...Very well kept up...
If only Goliath came with us... Loved this sign...
Time to stop and throw in some pennies... The kids I think took all our change....
Good times for them...I think a few wishes made too...
And once again... Karina doing what she was doing best...
Just all of us walking through town, checking out all the local shops...
Um yeah.... That's all I can say... This car was owned by a women named Clo
We stopped and talked with her, her husband just bought her this 2011 Ferrari California...
Its sad when you have a sports car, base model priced at $250,000. and you cant tell us anything about the car...
Walking to the park...
Henry and I had something in common today...
Can you figure it out...
hahahaha

Smile monkey...
This is what you have to do when you hold a parking spot...
Hurry up Chris... Not allot of people like it when you do this...
waiting, and waiting and waiting...
Now this is my other monkey...
Chris do you need a banana...
You know in life its good to stop and smell the flowers sometimes...
Karina, thanks for setting a good example....
We were on the Scenic road...
Flower time... again...
The way down to the beach we never stepped foot on....
This is what it looks like when you attempt to take a photo.....
Karina was being the photographer for the Collin's...
She did a great job...
Silly times with my two monkeys...
My turn....
I love all these homes in Carmel...
Chris when our we retiring
John Robinson Jeffers was an American poet, known for his work about the central California coast. Most of Jeffers poetry was written in classic narrative and epic form, but today he is also known for his short verse, and considered an icon of the environmental movement. Jeffers was married and moved to Carmel in 1913 where he constructed Tor House and Hawk Tower.
We tried to get a 1 1/2 tour
but when they only allow 6 on the tour and having cranky children...
Didn't work out..
But still nice to see this place...
All credit to Benton Collins...
we would of never seen this place...
We soon left Carmel and started our journey back home...
Stopped and enjoyed lunch for the first time at Chipotle...
And a few hours later our vacation came to a end...
And once again had a great time, a new adventure and wonderful memories...

MONTEREY BAY AQUARIUM....First Vacation Of The Year...

Family shot...
I love how my little monkey can be creative with her photos...
Is she posing or trying to figure out the machine...
Peek A Boo...
I wonder who's getting tired...
Its hard to get a family photo... We were outside taking a photo at the window...
Gotta love Iphones...
Yes those are real Jellyfish in the back...
Seriously, Who would buy this....
Not I... Waist of money and way to much sugar...
Ha, funny end to our night...
As we pulled up to the hotel, the fire alarms were going off... Everyone was out front. After just a little wait we decided to ask how long the alarms had been going off for... At this point 1 1/2 hours....They didn't know if someone pulled the alarm or if they were malfunctioning..
After a complaint when we were able to go to our room... Chris was able to get us in to the Hot tub late at night...

Quick Trip to Sacramento...

As our long day in the car with two little ones and all tummies hungry, my dear friend introduced us to this yummy food...
When our tummies were ready to explode, my dear friend Haley stated that there was just a little more room for frozen yogart... I should of stopped with Jack, but glad to say I was able to put unlimited toppings on my frozen yogart... Thanks to all these wonderful treats I didnt think I would be capable to walk in my sweaty jeans...
Our Journey continues to
SACRAMENTO LDS TEMPLE...
This will be a trip to remember...
There is nothing like being on temple grounds....
I love this picture of Karina...
Karina and Henry... They are becoming best buds..
A photo of Karina and I infront of the Sacramento Temple...I cant wait to come here with Chris...
The Day started to get real warm in Sac and I didnt come prepared with the proper attire.... Jeans wernt my best friend today...
After the temple.. We then went to do some shopping at Deseret Book Store... Boy did I have fun, I could of stayed there all day, but limited when you have a child that is ready to go home..

Our Mid afternoon trip to Old Faithful Geyser...

The Old Faithful Geyser Of California...
This is what it looks like before the eruption...
Chris whats that behind your head....
This is what it looks like when it erupts... better stand back... Its pretty extreme...
Kisses...
I guess these are Tennesee Fainting Goats... I only wanted to feed the little ones, grandpa kept butting them away so he could get food...
We attempted to get lost in the bamboo, we ended up somewhere inside to find out which we thought was an animal but a little boy about 5 had a long stick that he stuck through the bambo hitting back and forth... was not funny, I immediately got out...
Peek a boo...
A picture of the geyser process...
Chris was having fun taking photos of the mustang... I wanted him to get one of me, but this was the best photo..
The Old Faithful Geyser Of California
Is one of three geysers in the world with the designation "old faithful." These are the geysers that perform at regular intervals. A geyser exists only where conditions are right. These conditions include a natural deep subterranean supply of water, a source of heat and a series of fissures, fractures and cavities that provide a path of the surface of the earth. Surrounding rock formations must be strong enough to maintain continual onslaughts of the intense pressure of steam and water explosions.
