Projects, Projects, Projects.....

Grandpa starting projects for us...
Karina loved to help grandpa out...
She now knows how to use a hammer...

Grandpa is building a custom shed...
Chris's hobbie room is in the transistion to be Baby G's bedroom...

So what do you do when you need a ladder...
You make one with the scraps...
You go dad...

Well this use to be where all my clothes were...
Had to do a little re-organizing...

After a year in a half our kitchen is finalized...
Thank goodness, cause I was really tired of seeing everything in the kitchen...

So we did overwork my dad...
Even the cat is wondering what he's doing..

My Diaper Cakes....

This Diaper Cake was all gifts in the inside...
Janet Hutchinson went in on it with me...
Cake made for Melissa and Anthony Bartling....

 Diaper Baby Cake...
Made for Renee and Joshua Crook...

 Motorcycle Diaper Cake...
Made for Heidi and Steve DeVilbiss

Cradle Diaper Cake...
Made for Lonie and Ben Honsvick...
This was by far the hardest one to make...
But with hours of the thing falling apart, Im finally learning the tricks of how to hold a cake together...

I truly look forward to the next one...
Im thinking it will be for Charlotte and Clark Bjarnason...
Cant wait...

Baby shower time....

April 14th, Baby Shower for Lonie Honsvick
Dirty diaper game... Not everyone in this crowd finds humor in this game..
Put different candy bars in the diapers and melt them, and guess the candy bar..
The funny part to this game is that all these women are mothers and they couldnt handle a candy bar in a diaper....Hilarious
Amy, Katie, Kimberly, Sandra, and Holly
Another game we played was dont forget about daddy...
Ben answered questions, and everyone tried to guess his answer...
 Charlotte, Alexis, Laura, and Jodi
Now Jodi has a sense of humor... She liked the dirty diaper game so much she wanted to eat the candy bar inside...
 Sandra Hollingsworth...
My dad made a mixed fruit watermelon stroller and pregnant oranges...
Got a good turn out...

All the adults are hiding the eggs...
karina is somewhere in the distance...trying to find eggs...

I think they need more eggs....

Everyone counting there eggs and seeing who go the most money...
Tradition for Giacominis to not put candy in eggs but money...
Dad came with us for easter dinner and egg hunt over at the Nortons...
Karina received this at church... Bag full of eggs... You read scriptures and then try to figure out whats in the eggs... It was really nice for us to do this as a family...

Now you know you live in California when your work truck is your convertible mustang...

Karina Loves Home Depot and went on many trips with us to shop for house supplies...

I couldnt keep her away from anything...

And this is what a microphone looks like at home depot...

Foreign Exchange Student "Natsumi"

WELCOME PARTY FOR ALL EXCHANGE STUDENTS ...

March 22nd- April 1st

We were thought of as a family from Tamarah Norton to have a foreign exchange student for 10 days in our home... We were so excited we couldnt say no... Karina was so excited too... The arrival of Natsumi was a little weird... What do you say to someone that cant speak a lot of english and they are comming home to live with you... Most of the time when we would have conversations with her she would agree and then we would turn around and ask her about what we were talking about and she would have no clue... It became an ongoing thing that I would joke a lot and we would all be laughing and she wouldnt so Karina or Chris would have to tell her it was a JOKE and then she would point at me, say joke and laugh... It was hilarious...
Natsumi Loves going to the malls and shopping
the funny part to shopping is she never would buy anything...
Natsumi got to experiance Doggie school for Goliath...
Get together Dinner Party with the Nortons, Hardisty's and Giacominis...
All the kids had a dance off... Natsumi rocked it...
Thats our girl...

 Japan Students teaching Karina Origami...
The Three LDS Families all together with their Exchange students...
Karinas Open House...Natsumi got to see all her projects and see an Elementary School here in America...
We tried to take natsumi out as much as we could so she could experience all different types of food... The sad part to this night is the two guys in the back ground did a dine and dash...
We had the worst server ever...
One thing Natsumi wanted to do while she was here in America is visit the CHARLES M SCHULZ MUSEUM...

Took Natsumi to one of our favorite Sushi resturants...
Being Japanese Resturant, no one that worked there was Japanese...
Seriously, we wanted her to be able to talk to someone in the public in her language...

Since Natsumi has left we have exchanged a few emails.. Her parents wrote us a thank you letter and welcomed us to Japan to stay with them. They sent us a huge package with variety of things from Japan... We hope one day to see natsumi again...

Always in our hearts Natsumi....
