Our Mid afternoon trip to Old Faithful Geyser...

The Old Faithful Geyser Of California...
This is what it looks like before the eruption...
Chris whats that behind your head....
This is what it looks like when it erupts... better stand back... Its pretty extreme...
Kisses...
I guess these are Tennesee Fainting Goats... I only wanted to feed the little ones, grandpa kept butting them away so he could get food...
We attempted to get lost in the bamboo, we ended up somewhere inside to find out which we thought was an animal but a little boy about 5 had a long stick that he stuck through the bambo hitting back and forth... was not funny, I immediately got out...
Peek a boo...
A picture of the geyser process...
Chris was having fun taking photos of the mustang... I wanted him to get one of me, but this was the best photo..
The Old Faithful Geyser Of California
Is one of three geysers in the world with the designation "old faithful." These are the geysers that perform at regular intervals. A geyser exists only where conditions are right. These conditions include a natural deep subterranean supply of water, a source of heat and a series of fissures, fractures and cavities that provide a path of the surface of the earth. Surrounding rock formations must be strong enough to maintain continual onslaughts of the intense pressure of steam and water explosions.

A day Spent in Napa California...

Castello Di Amorosa
This castle, true to medieval tradition, shows the constant restoration, changing architectural styles, and never ending refurbishing. It often took generations to continuously build a castle. Daryl Sattui took only a mere 15 years or so, along with 170 container loads of timbers, bricks and metal work all hand-done over an open fire in Tuscany, just as they would have 800 years ago...
Sign as you pull up off of hwy 29...
So pretty...
Chris was such a love, he asked to push sleepy Henry up to the Castle... I love to see him doing these things...He will make a great daddy...
I love this entrance... If only there were gatters below...
I want my front door to have this as a door bell...
The light is always shinning on my hubbs... He's full of Sunshine...
It says no Entry... But can we try...
Im knocking...
Ok, the door wont open, I guess there is another route...
My turn... babe, wait up... Im comming...
I loved this shot...
If I only had our camera rather then my iphone this could of been a better shot... Beautiful horses...
What a day for us... It was perfect weather, maybe just a touch warmer than I would want but no complaints... Its so nice to take advantage of what is in your back yard... I feel like Ive been in this area for so many years and I never appreciate whats around. Our friends the Collins inspire us to get out more and explore what we have... Love you guys...

Off to the local Peanut Musuem....

Located in the heart of Sonoma County's Wine Country, Just one hour North of San Francisco, sits the
Charles M. Schulz Museum
Celebrating the life of Charles M Schulz and the peanuts Characters

Karina never likes having her photo taken and as we arrived today I told her that the one thing that needs to happen is some photos...For some odd reason she agreed and was photo happy all day long..

"Charlie Brown can I have a HUG"

Karina Informed me today her favorite character is SNOOPY.
back in the day he was my favorite out of all...
We had to get a photo of us together right outside the museum before we entered....
Solo shot of her posing...
We were joined by our good friends... Photo shot with Sally Brown, Karina Flores, and
Henry Collins
I found out today with this statue Snoopy and I have something in common....
Just all Crystal...
This Cartoon Mural was amazing....As you get close its all cartoon strips...This was my favorite part...
Of course Karina wants to take the elevator down...And like always in hand with her favorite little boy...
Snoopy time...
I wonder how many people have touched the head of snoopy here... Karina dont get to close...
Our day at the museum ended with going to Snoopys Gallery and Gift shop which features 2,400 square feet of peanuts products... We couldnt leave without getting something to remind us of our day...Karina chose a snoopy stuff animal along with a snoopy magnet...
We then decided to join haley and henry at
5 guys...
I decided the cheesburge was yumm, but personal opinion I think its over rated...
would I go back, sure...

Something we all should think about....

This thought of mine is a little different... I know there are things that we hope to do before our time comes... I never knew alot of places I would like to go, or places to see and visit or just the simple things of what I would like to do...
Ive been thinking along the lines of this song....
"If I Die Young" The Band Perry
I want to have things prepared for that time...
I want my husband to know of the things I would want...
(I guess that is what a will is for)
But a will isnt in depth of what you would like...
Just to having all red roses at my funeral...
I dont want to get into detail of my plan but this is just a little thought that has came into my mind...
I bet now you all think Im crazy..

On a good note I will be working on my Bucket list...
To the simple things as
1. Take my daughter Karina to Disney Land
Hopefully my list can grow...

Preview of Harry Potters musical...

I took Karina to Borders last night and saw this sign and decided we would attend...
One thing I learned today is next time you go to something like this you should know a little about it...
One of the characters called out to karina and asked
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTER IN HARRY POTTER...?
(good thing they didnt ask me, the only person I knew of who to say would be Harry Potter)
Since Karina gave an answer she would get a hug from that character...
Can you guess who she got a hug from...
H A R R Y P O T T E R ...

Good times...and thoughts about our family...

Karina and Henry....
Its times like this that I know Karina needs a little sibling...
Its crazy that I never feel like its time yet for me to be
Prego...And now Im sitting with almost 8 years ago my beautiful little monkey came into this world... Now I feel she is almost to old to have a little Brother/Sister running around... I always loved being so close to my brother Shannon aka DIRK, which we were only 14 months apart.... We were best buds, had the same friends and always did things together growing up... We are keeping our fingers crossed for chris to get into this so called "PD" academy so that one day soon I can finally be that mommy that takes her kids to school and picks them up and shows up and helps in the class room. To the mother who is involved with the classroom and that goes on the field trips...Its all those simple things that mean alot to your little ones... What would be really nice is that she could join a soccer team...ballet... or piano... Whatever she would love to do... Once again just like I said, hopefully one day soon., my dream can come true... For now good job to all you working moms....Keep up the hard work... To all you stay at home moms...You Inspire me and one day I look forward to being like you...

4th of JULY

Karina Flores Has the morning jitters, getting ready for the big 1 mile run....
We did survive, if not we would'nt be taking this photo...I learned that my child is more like a sprinter...1/2 way through the 1 mile she was ready for the finish line... It ended with her trying to pull the stroller that Henry Collins was sitting in that I was pushing in the race... Talk about a muscle builder...
So haley is like me, with the morning nerves hitting you, you make many trips to the B room....
I love my little family.... Specially with finally getting Chris to join us in this race. He was able to get the day off...
after who knows what place we took in the 1 mile...
I have to congradulate my amazing bestie...
YOU ROCK...Haley...3rd place in her age group for her 4 mile death run...
Keep up the great work... You inspire me...
Well this is what happens after a run...
Babe... Pictures if you don't wake up... Chris when are you going to learn to use a Napkin...
He has Chocolate all over his face...
Its so nice to have holiday spirit all around...
Tried to get karina to tip them a dollar, Henry dropped it while in his stroller...
Cheese...Good thing this photo is not a close up, no make up...
after a run, and lots of heat from the parade, we immediately hit the pool...
Cant get enough of the pool...

Karina wanted to show us how she can now dive and not hold her nose...
My big girl is growing up so fast... 7 years old and a great swimmer...
No better way to spend the summer... What a day...1 mile run...pool time...Pizza dinner with our besties...and some fireworks.... This is what happens when you have to much fun....
Good night...
